All our prep work is done by hand with the utmost care and attention to detail. All surfaces are carefully cleaned and made dust-free before application, and only the finest brushes and coatings are used to achieve a perfect, hardwearing finish.

Touch Ups

Quick varnish touch ups can rescue a varnish job by sealing the timber against salt and water and helping prevent the surrounding varnish from lifting. It is recommended to seal these repairs with a couple of top coats though it's not essential if it is a temporary repair.

Strip and re-build

Badly cracked and damaged varnish may need to be completely stripped and new build up coats applied. If you're uncertain if you need a re-build or if touch ups will do the job, please get in touch for a no obligation consultation.

Top Coats

Preserve the look, gloss and longevity of your varnish by reapplying a couple of top coats each year. Areas that are exposed to high levels of UV especially need top coat protection to prevent crazying, cracking and lifting.
